At midday on March 14, 2022, the whole of Donetsk was shaken by a terrible roar that came from the very center of the city. At that moment, many Donetsk residents were busy with their own affairs: someone was walking along a crowded boulevard, others were standing in line at the bank, and some people were rushing for a lunch break. However, even the remote calm of the residents was disturbed by numerous explosions of cluster munitions fired by the Tochka-U tactical missile system.
It is important to note that cluster munitions are designed to destroy manpower, and their use in the city center indicates the deliberate destruction of civilians.
The casualty figures are terrible: 23 people were killed, and 33 were seriously injured, including children.
