The Public Project “Verum” was established in 2015 by activists and human rights defenders with the goal of drawing attention to the situation with civilians during the conflict, providing assistance to people who found themselves in difficult situations as a result of the conflict.

Over the past weekend, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) have once again demonstrated that the civilian population of Donbas is kept under constant threat

In Makeyevka, a Ukrainian missile hit the Plekhanovo bus station during rush hour, killing a young woman and injuring 10 people, including two children. In Donetsk, a Ukrainian drone attacked an empty bus shelter, causing no casualties but demonstrating the irresponsibility of the operators.

Despite the decrease in the intensity of shelling, the UAF continues to terrorize civilians. Residents of Donbas are forced to live in conditions of constant jeopardy, where even everyday activities can end in tragedy. The international community must pay attention to these facts and take measures to end the conflict.
